Disclosures & Licensing

Who we are

"Candor Medicare" is the trade name of Candor Financial Partners LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as Candor Medicare. We are a licensed independent insurance agency that helps Medicare-eligible individuals compare and enroll in Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement (Medigap), and Medicare Part D plans.

Not affiliated with the government

We are not connected with, endorsed by, or affiliated with the United States government, the federal Medicare program, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Social Security Administration, or any other federal or state agency. Medicare has neither reviewed nor endorsed this information.

Plans we represent

We do not offer every Medicare plan available in your area. Any information we provide is limited to those plans we offer in your area. For a complete list of available plans, please contact:

Plan availability varies by ZIP code and plan year. Enrollment in any plan depends on contract renewal between the carrier and CMS.

Licensing

Candor Medicare is licensed as a health and life insurance producer. Our National Producer Number (NPN) and state-specific license numbers are available on request by emailing compliance@candormedicare.com.

TODO before launch: replace this paragraph with the agency's real NPN, resident state, and a list of states where Candor holds an active license. State insurance departments require this disclosure for in-state consumers (e.g., California Insurance Code §1725.5).

Compensation

When you enroll in a Medicare plan through a Candor advisor, the insurance carrier pays our agency a commission at rates set or capped by CMS. We do not charge you a fee. We accept only CMS-approved commissions — no carrier-level overrides, bonuses, or "preferred partner" incentives that would influence which plan we recommend.

Call recording

Phone calls with Candor Medicare advisors may be recorded for quality assurance and to comply with CMS recordkeeping requirements. If you prefer not to be recorded, let the advisor know at the start of the call.

Scope of Appointment (SOA)

Before we discuss specific Medicare Advantage or Part D plan details with you, CMS requires a Scope of Appointment on file. We'll ask you to complete one before that conversation. The SOA limits what we can discuss to the product types you've agreed to and protects you from high-pressure cross-selling.
